About This Project
Matthew Macar is a Director and Cinematographer based on the West Coast but has a penchant for popping up in different parts of the world and making things happen.
A background in visual effects design, animation and post production eventually lead to cinematography and finally to Directing, Matthew brings a valuable technical awareness and strong visual story-telling acumen to every project, as well as a keen problem-solving instincts that ripple through every department and help each project achieve its creative goals.
When he’s not on set or otherwise being professional, he enjoys wood-working, traveling, camping, and occasionally a good taco.
